Aasif Khan evicted on Weekend Ka Vaar: what the reports say
The Sunday Guardian wrote that Aasif “reportedly” received the lowest number of audience votes among the nominated housemates, and that he was announced as the one leaving after the voting. Neither report gave vote numbers or percentages, so how close the result was is not known from the reports read.
Two housemates stood out in both reports. India TV wrote that ScoutOP, the gamer known on the show as Scout, and rapper Yung DSA cried as they said goodbye to him. The Sunday Guardian described the two as emotional after the announcement and said they had bonded with him in the house. Neither report quoted what Aasif, Scout or Yung said at the exit.

Bigg Boss 20 week 8 nominees, and why the lists differ
Both reports of the 1 November episode named the same six housemates who faced the week 8 public vote: Aasif Khan, ScoutOP, Love Gill, Aamrapali Dubey, Kushal Tanwar (known in the house as Gullu) and Kanika Mann.
That list does not match every earlier account of the week. The table below sets out what each outlet reported and when.

There is a second loose end. Kanika Mann won the captaincy task in the episode streamed on 29 October, and Filmibeat and Asianet Newsable said at the time that the win made her safe from eviction the following week, as NewsPlainly reported. India TV’s 1 November report also says Kanika won the captaincy, yet lists her among the nominees. None of the reports read explains how the list changed between 27 October and 1 November. Only Aasif’s eviction is common to both accounts of the aired episode.
Aasif Khan in the Bigg Boss 20 house
In an interview with Variety India published on 6 September, Aasif said he joined partly because he was a big fan of Salman, and because television was the one medium he had not yet worked in after theatre, films and streaming shows. He called Sidharth Shukla, the Bigg Boss 13 winner, his favourite winner of the show.
Outside the show he is best known for streaming roles. Variety India listed Ganesh, the son-in-law in Panchayat, Babar in Mirzapur and a part in Paatal Lok. The Sunday Guardian added Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega and the film Hum Do Hamare Do.
Inside the house he had his share of friction. In an episode covered in NewsPlainly’s 21 October report, Leisurebyte reported that a row between Aasif and Qazi Touqeer ended with Qazi clutching his chest and acting out a heart attack after a dig from Aasif, which upset Aasif and drew objections from other housemates. The Sunday Guardian, citing The Indian Express, said his biggest clashes were with Uditi Singh and Qazi Touqeer, without describing them.
He also sided with ScoutOP at least once. India TV recalled an argument between Scout and Arishfa Khan that began after Uditi Singh brought up Scout’s girlfriend Kaashvi Hiranandani, and said Aasif sided with Scout. In the promo of the 30 October episode, India TV reported, Aasif was among the housemates who stepped in to calm down the separate row between Scout and Uditi.

What is still not clear after the eviction
With Aasif Khan evicted, some gaps remain: several details were not in the two reports read. They did not say whether any other housemate was close to the bottom of the vote, what Aasif said as he left, or whether the show announced a new nomination round for week 9. The Sunday Guardian said the eviction changed the dynamics of the house but did not say how.
