Love Gill is in the danger zone again. The Bigg Boss 20 week 8 nominations took place in the episode that streamed on 27 October 2026, and ScoutOP, the gamer at the centre of a row on the show over the past week, was among those who put her there, according to recaps of the episode by Filmibeat and Times Now. The task was laid out like a game of Ludo, with a red zone for housemates facing eviction and a green zone for those who were safe.
The two recaps agree on five names in the red zone. They do not agree on everything else, and the differences are set out below so that readers can see exactly what each outlet reported.
Who is nominated in Bigg Boss 20 week 8
Both Filmibeat and Times Now name these five housemates in the red zone: Bhojpuri actor Aamrapali Dubey, television actor Manish Goel, Kanika Mann, social media creator Arishfa Khan and Love Gill.
The two outlets describe the task a little differently. Filmibeat said Bigg Boss gave Mahhi Vij, this week’s captain, a special power to nominate five contestants before the swapping rounds began, and that she chose those five. Times Now called it a board-game-style captaincy task in which Mahhi was made the “dictator” and asked to spin a wheel 11 times. Navbharat Times, in its Hindi recap, said Mahhi was safe because she is the captain.
Times Now went further. It said six contestants were placed in the red box and nominated for eviction: the same five plus Aasif Khan. It listed Yung DSA, ScoutOP, Qazi Touqeer, Uditi Singh and Gullu in the green box. Filmibeat’s written update did not mention Aasif Khan among the nominated and did not set out a list after the swaps.
There is one more loose end. Times Now also reported that Yung nominated Gullu during the task and that the two clashed over it, even though its own list puts Gullu in the green box. So the five names above are the ones both recaps support; Aasif Khan’s nomination comes from Times Now alone. Lists that went around social media before the episode streamed are not used here.
Scout’s nomination of Love Gill and how she took it
The moment both recaps singled out was ScoutOP naming Love Gill. Filmibeat said she was visibly upset and broke down during the task. Times Now described Love Gill as heartbroken and said Aamrapali later consoled her.
The choice came two days after the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of 25 October, in which Scout’s girlfriend Kaashvi Hiranandani questioned his closeness to Love; she apologised for her remarks the next day, as NewsPlainly reported. Navbharat Times said Love was seen crying through much of the 27 October episode; at one point, remembering her mother, she said everything felt very heavy.
Neither Filmibeat nor Times Now reported a reason given by ScoutOP for nominating Love Gill. Times Now said Kanika later urged Scout to respect Kaashvi and to sort the matter out after the show. The recaps read for this article did not carry a reply from Scout to that advice.
Manish Goel’s words to Scout during the task
Manish Goel and ScoutOP also got into a verbal argument during the nomination round, Times Now reported. Filmibeat gave the substance. Manish told Scout that a person’s decency should not be mistaken for weakness (“Kisiki sharafat ko kamzori nahi samajhna chahiye”, in his words) and that nobody should be mocked.
His complaint went back to an earlier night. After Arishfa poured water on some beds, Yung and Scout slept on the floor, and Manish chose to sleep on the floor too, Filmibeat said. Manish’s point was that Scout had not objected at the time but raised the matter later, on Weekend Ka Vaar. Filmibeat’s report did not include what Scout said in reply.

Week 7 ended with boxer Mary Kom’s exit on Saturday, 24 October, after she lost the second of her two lifelines, as we reported. This season every contestant starts with two lifelines, and one who loses both goes out, according to an agency report carried by Sentinel Assam. Manish lost one of his on the same night and has one left, Gulf News and Sentinel Assam reported then.
What else happened in episode 52
The nominations were not the only flashpoint. During an argument, Gullu called Arishfa “kam padhi likhi hui ladki”, a jibe about her schooling, Filmibeat reported. Arishfa answered that her circumstances should not be mocked, and said she had started working young to support her family. Gullu said he spoke in the heat of the moment but did not fully take the remark back, Filmibeat said. Times Now reported that Arishfa broke down and called Gullu a psychopath.
In the kitchen, Mahhi kept asking Aamrapali to put the dal on. Aamrapali replied that she was not Mahhi’s servant, Filmibeat reported, while Times Now said she objected to being ordered around and claimed Mahhi could not cook. Mahhi said she only wanted lunch to be ready on time, according to Filmibeat, and accepted that she was not a strong cook.
When the week 8 result is due
Nominated housemates face possible eviction at the end of the week. Mary Kom went out last week after getting too few votes, Filmibeat reported, and this season’s evictions have been announced on the weekend Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. Last week’s came on Saturday rather than the usual Sunday. Bigg Boss 20 streams on JioHotstar at 9 pm and airs on Colors TV at 10.30 pm, Times Now said.
