Why it matters
Kaashvi made the accusation on national television, about a woman inside the house who could not answer it at the time. The episode, the team statement and the apology show how a reality show row now plays out across the broadcast and Instagram within a day, and why viewers are hearing three different versions of the same week.
The Bigg Boss 20 Love Gill row has moved out of the house and onto social media. On the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Sunday, 25 October 2026, Kaashvi Hiranandani, the girlfriend of contestant ScoutOP, walked in and told him that Love had trapped him. A day later, after Love Gill’s team responded with a statement, Kaashvi Hiranandani apologised on Instagram, without naming Love.
Here is what each of them said, in order, based on reports by Bollywood Hungama, Free Press Journal, India.com, NewsX and Leisurebyte.
What Kaashvi said on the Sunday episode
Host Rohit Shetty told the housemates that someone had come to meet ScoutOP, whose real name is Tanmay Singh. He said the show had not invited Kaashvi and that she had come on her own, according to Leisurebyte’s recap of the episode.
She went straight to ScoutOP’s closeness with Love Gill, which had been the talk of the week. “How is the massage parlour going, Tanmay?” she asked him, Bollywood Hungama reported. Then came the line that set off the row. “Usne aapko phasaya hai aur aap phas gaye,” she told him, meaning that Love had trapped him and he had fallen for it.
She told ScoutOP to cut Love off completely and claimed Love was emotionally manipulating him, Leisurebyte reported. The housemates told her they had seen nothing inappropriate between the two. Love Gill has said she sees ScoutOP as a brother.
The episode came a day after Shetty himself raised the issue. In Saturday’s promo he told the pair that Scout massaging Love’s legs, hands and neck did not look right to viewers outside, as NewsPlainly reported.

Love Gill’s team responds with a statement
Love’s team released a statement after the episode, defending her and questioning ScoutOP’s part in what happened. Both Bollywood Hungama and Free Press Journal carried it.
“From day one, Love’s boundaries were clear: Scout was a brother to her. Period,” the statement said, according to Bollywood Hungama. It asked: “Why is a grown man treated like a victim of hypnosis, while a girl is painted as a calculated temptress?” It also asked why Love should carry the shame “for feelings she never asked for and never reciprocated”, Free Press Journal reported.
The statement ended: “Love Gill deserved empathy, not cruelty. She deserved justice, not a character assassination.” It added that “no woman should ever have to pay for a man’s choices”.
Kaashvi’s apology on Instagram
On Monday, 26 October, Kaashvi Hiranandani posted an apology on her Instagram Stories. She said her aim had been to hold Scout accountable for what she saw as his mistakes, but that some of her words were insensitive towards others involved.
“It is not my place to pass judgements on someone else’s intentions or character, and I could have expressed myself better,” she wrote, according to Free Press Journal. She said the online commentary she had watched had clouded her emotions, “but I should have known better”, Bollywood Hungama reported. “I recognise that and truly apologise to everyone I’ve hurt,” she added.
She did not name Love anywhere in the apology, Free Press Journal and India.com both noted. The reports read for this article, published on 26 October, did not include a response from Love’s team to the apology.

What the Monday promo shows
The fallout reached the house too. In a promo for Monday’s episode, Love Gill breaks down and confronts ScoutOP, NewsX reported. “Mere character ki tune dhajiyan uda di,” she tells him, saying he has torn her character to shreds, and adds: “You just spoiled my whole career.” She says he did not defend her when Kaashvi made the accusation.
ScoutOP, in the same promo, says he has handled the situation patiently, accepts that their interactions gave a bad impression and says he will set boundaries, according to NewsX. He has made no statement outside the show; he is still inside the house, and the reports read did not include one from his team.
How the Bigg Boss 20 Love Gill row built up
The row did not start on Sunday. A clip of ScoutOP massaging Love Gill’s feet, hands and calves went around online earlier in the week, India TV reported at the time, as NewsPlainly noted on 24 October. Shetty raised it in the Weekend Ka Vaar on Saturday, Kaashvi made her accusation on Sunday, and Love’s team and Kaashvi Hiranandani both spoke out by Monday. Going by its promo, Monday night’s episode picks it up inside the house. Bigg Boss 20 streams at 9 pm on JioHotstar and airs at 10.30 pm on Colors TV.
